Every once in a while I see my reflection across my room
Too many mirrors —I say to myself—
Too much room to hang up reminders of my genetic doom
My nose bridge is crooked
I have too much hair
My clothes feel so stupid
The list only gets longer the more I stare.
The reflection I see wouldn’t be all that bad
If you look past how I am the striking image of my dad.
But whatever
What’s good looks got to do with anything, anyway?
Or maybe
That’s just something someone beautiful would never say.

This song is Fire!
devastatingly so
David’s comment really got you
HAHA beautiful poem
I told him i’d post this just to get back at him
It makes me think about when Rosalia said that it’s unnatural for us to be able to see ourselves so often, through a mirror or a phone. We would probably all be better off without seeing ourselves constantly!
OMG yes exactly.
